Chris Hargreaves, self-styled leader of The Shield UK, rose to prominence by positioning his group as a grassroots force against grooming gangs and institutional failures. With a TikTok following nearing 100,000 and a stream of emotionally charged videos, Hargreaves cultivated a persona of righteous defiance—claiming to protect British girls and expose systemic neglect.

But beneath the surface of viral slogans and public rallies, a troubling pattern emerged.

In a recent exposé, I revealed that The Shield—once uncompromising in its stance against Pakistani grooming gangs—has quietly begun partnering with Muslim community leaders and businessmen. This shift, framed by Hargreaves as a move toward “unity and integrity,” has sparked outrage among survivors, activists, and former supporters. Many view it as a betrayal of the very victims The Shield claimed to defend, especially in towns like Rotherham, Telford, and Rochdale, where institutional denial and cultural complicity allowed abuse to flourish.

The exposure raises critical questions:

  • Is The Shield compromising its mission for political optics?
  • Who benefits from these alliances—and who is silenced?
  • Can a movement rooted in survivor advocacy afford to dilute its stance?

Through forensic analysis of public statements, social media patterns, and internal contradictions, I’ve traced a shift from unflinching advocacy to strategic appeasement. This isn’t just a tactical misstep—it’s a moral rupture.

As The Resistance Frequency continues to investigate, we invite listeners to look beyond the slogans and ask: Who truly protects the vulnerable—and who performs protection for power?

āš ļø Statement on Unauthorised Video Sharing by Chris Hargreaves

We feel it’s important to address a serious breach of trust and privacy that occurred during a recent retreat facilitated by Chris Hargreaves. Without seeking or obtaining consent, Chris shared video footage of participants with a group, violating the personal boundaries and expectations of privacy that are fundamental to any healing or spiritual space.

This behaviour is not only ethically unacceptable—it may also be unlawful under UK privacy and data protection laws. Retreat spaces must be safe, confidential, and respectful of every individual’s right to control how their image and experience are shared.

🚫 What This Means:

  • No participant gave informed consent for the videos to be recorded or distributed.
  • The sharing of this footage has caused distress and concern among attendees.

Full videos clearly identifying people is held on our secure servers and we will protect there privacy but the whistle blowers that will appear on my radio show will confirm further details and more in-depth of products used at the event.

On August 11th, the Shield made an internal announcement stating that the new Portal system is operational at a cost of 60k, which represents a substantial amount of external funding. The individual tasked with developing the system is Paul Christopher Mangiagalli, who is designated as a development director without any board responsibilities. This designation is due to the significant number of businesses he has liquidated, and notably, he was previously employed by IT 360 LTD under prior ownership. To navigate this complex web of concealed companies, Stephen Oxley is identified as the sole director, while his wife, Haley Louise Oxley, established IT360 Group Limited.

For areas of concern, please refer to the attached file and consider whether the data is secure with a company that has created a portal and a website with obvious security vulnerabilities.

Statement from Chris official bike club :

"Over the past few months there have been a lot of questions put to SOHMC club members regarding the group "The Shield". To set the record straight the Sons of Hell MC do not endorse or have anything to do with the organisation "The Shield"

Whilst we appreciate the purpose of The Shield it's nothing to do with the Sons of Hell MC. Thank you. SFFS."

Additional Information

Chris Hargreaves otherwise known as "Scribble" made a serious mistake by making it clear he had informed the Police on me and that according to the code of 1% bikers they never get cops involved yet Chris claims he has. Im sure his fellow bikers will have raised this with him.
