Inside the Home Office Asylum System
By Andrew Sibley JAOC Investigations
Introduction
Ian has worked for the Home Office for 18 years. As one of around 6,500 asylum caseworkers spr5ead across 19 centres in the UK, he has processed thousands of applications. Now, he is speaking out — and resigning — over what he describes as a broken system that leaves caseworkers powerless to stop dangerous individuals from being granted asylum.
“You’re going to be very shocked”
“You’re going to be very shocked by what I tell you,” Ian warned at the start of our interview.
His decision to speak publicly was motivated by a personal tragedy: a friend’s daughter was raped by an asylum seeker. “She is terrified,” he said. “And I can’t ignore the possibility that someone I grant asylum to could do the same, or worse.”
Powerless to Stop Known Offenders
Ian described how men with criminal histories — including those on the sex offenders register — are still considered for asylum.
“We’ve had applicants who exposed themselves in children’s play areas, who stalked women, who threatened people. Even those up on rape charges are still eligible.”
The reason, he explained, is legal: unless someone has been sentenced to 12 months or more in prison, they remain eligible for asylum.4
“We have to call them customers now”
Caseworkers are instructed to refer to applicants as “customers.” Ian finds this language deeply misleading.
“These are young, undocumented males who’ve destroyed their papers and broken into the country. I run a police check and a terrorist check. The police check might say Mr X exposed himself in a playground. But if he’s from Afghanistan, Eritrea, Sudan, or Kuwait, we’re not allowed to deny asylum.”
These countries are deemed unsafe to return applicants to. “Take Eritrea,” Ian explained. “They have forced military conscription. So anyone claiming to be Eritrean is automatically granted asylum. It’s an open door.”
Grant Rates and Overturned Decisions
Ian highlighted the scale of approvals:
- Between 2021 and 2023, 99% of Syrians were granted asylum.
- In the last eight months alone, he has granted asylum to over 1,000 Eritreans.
- Any rejection he issued was overturned by management.
“Within my section, the grant rate is nearly 100%. My brother works in deportation — he hasn’t processed a single deportation in the past year.”
Whistleblowing and Resignation
Ian has now handed in his notice.
“I’ve encouraged others to do the same and become whistleblowers. Like Nikki, who appeared in the Telegraph recently, many more will come forward. We’re being gaslit and threatened, but the truth has to come out.”
Home Office Response
The Home Office was asked to comment on Ian’s claims. They did not respond.
Conclusion
Ian’s testimony paints a picture of an asylum system under strain, where caseworkers feel powerless, legal thresholds override common sense, and management pressures silence dissent. His resignation — and call for others to follow — suggests that more whistleblowers may soon step forward.
MI5 and UK TERROR THREAT
"Islamist terrorism is the most significant terrorist threat to the UK by volume.
Islamist terrorists are generally driven by an extreme interpretation of Islam or perceived grievances against ‘the West’, particularly those propagated by terrorist groups such as Daesh (also referred to as ISIL, ISIS or the Islamic State) or al-Qaeda. Ken Mcallum
Sweden
Gun Crime A weapons cache was discovered last week at an asylum accommodation in Krokom, Jämtland, hidden inside the property’s heating chamber. According to reliable sources, Avpixlat has confirmed contact with both the police and the Security Service. The authorities have since seized the weapons.
Germany
Islamist Suspect Detained in Berlin with a Large Weapons Cache . The German Authorities Arrested a 40-Year-Old Suspected Islamist Militant. The arrest, part of a series of coordinated police raids, led to the discovery of a substantial arsenal, including high-grade military weapons
Ireland
Authorities in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, have uncovered weapons caches linked to illegal migration. These caches were discovered within an asylum accommodation center, and additional, undisclosed cases are believed to exist.

Hamas Influence Over UK‑Based Palestinian Marches
Recent assessments by JAOC indicate a concerning pattern in which elements aligned with Hamas have sought to exert a military‑style influence over certain pro‑Palestinian marches taking place in the United Kingdom. Evidence that organised Hamas‑linked actors have shaped the tone, messaging, and operational structure of selected events.
This influence includes:
- Coordinated mobilisation tactics resembling command‑style organisation rather than spontaneous civic protest.
- Dominating leadership roles, crowd direction, and chant selection in ways that mirror hierarchical control.
- Projecting Hamas‑aligned symbolism, narratives, and strategic messaging into marches.
This also raises legitimate concerns for public safety, community cohesion, and the integrity of lawful protest in the UK.
The dossier highlights the need for continued focus by UK authorities.
Truth behind the Jihadi network
YouthClubUK.co.uk presents a vibrant public image, but our investigation reveals gaps in transparency, governance, and safeguarding clarity. While the site promotes active engagement and creative events, it lacks published policies, leadership accountability, and verifiable safeguarding protocols.
Our investigation indicates that YouthClubUK.co.uk is being used as a promotional platform for a movement with radical ideological aims, targeting young people across the UK. Evidence suggests that the organisation has facilitated venues and logistical support for individuals known to promote divisive and inflammatory content — including a social media figure from Pakistan who was denied entry to the UK by the Home Office due to concerns over hate speech.
A “civilizational jihad” strategy
This 200-page report analyses the movement’s five-decade effort to integrate into Western institutions while opposing democratic values and pluralism. Using verified documents, network mapping, and case analysis, it uncovers a coordinated, multi-generational strategy to influence policy, education, and civil society.
The findings reveal how Muslim Brotherhood-linked organisations have infiltrated government, shaped civil rights policies, influenced education, and built powerful media and digital networks. The report exposes their long-term “civilizational jihad” strategy to exploit freedoms while aligning with progressive groups and minorities to destabilize democracies.
The report urges the U.S. government to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation to limit its ideological and institutional influence. ISGAP argues this step would protect civil rights laws from misuse and safeguard democratic institutions.

SUPPRESSION OF IMMIGRATION INSPECTION REPORTS
“A letter was sent on 28 September to the Independent Border and Immigration Commission, followed by a further letter on 21 November. Both were received and opened, yet no reply has been provided.”
Dear Sirs,
I am writing to formally raise a serious concern brought to my attention by 3 whistleblowers , a customs official and other airport workers regarding alleged illegal immigration activity at Manchester Airport.
According to the information I received, approximately 400 individuals are reportedly arriving at Manchester Airport 3 nights a week without passing through standard customs and immigration procedures. It is alleged that specialist contractors—distinct from known ground handling firms such as Menzies Aviation—are facilitating this process, potentially bypassing lawful border controls.
I understand the gravity of this claim and the importance of due process. I am not making accusations, but I believe this matter warrants urgent investigation by the appropriate authorities. If true, this could represent a significant breach of UK immigration law and national security protocols.
I respectfully request that this report be treated with confidentiality and investigated thoroughly. I am willing to provide further details if required and cooperate with any inquiry.

The dismissal of David Neal as Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration in February 2024 exposed serious flaws in government transparency. Neal, a retired Brigadier, had completed 14 inspection reports scrutinising asylum casework, airport security, and enforcement operations. Download the file and see what happened to these reports
